The Mississippi Alpha Chapter of Phi Delta Theta has been gratefully present on the Ole Miss campus for 135 years. Since 1877, a select few students at the University of Mississippi have been able to call themselves Phi Delts. Since its founding, Mississippi Alpha has stood out among other fraternities for its tradition of providing leaders, scholars, athletes, and community servants. We are proud to select from the top men of Mississippi’s flagship university and we look forward to carrying on this rich tradition for years to come.
Over the years, many Mississippi Alpha alums have gone on to have successful careers, doing great things for the State of Mississippi, and the country abroad. The Phi Delts of Ole Miss have careers as politicians, UM Chancellors, CEOs of large corporations, and even as the director of major motion pictures.
Today, Phi Delta Theta is fostering the leaders of tomorrow through philanthropic work. By becoming a member of Mississippi Alpha, you are in connection to many men successful enough for their own Wikipedia pages. Take a look at what our alumni are up too.
